The CyberPower AVRG900U is a compact UPS with line interactive topology, providing battery backup (using simulated sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems. Using Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), the AVRG900U corrects minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, which extends the battery's life. This feature is essential in areas where power fluctuations occur frequently.
The UPS system has a rating of 900VA/480W and comes with a three-year warranty, including coverage of the batteries, and a $200,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee. Additionally, it includes the free PowerPanel Personal Edition Management Software (Download) for easy power management.
The AVRG900U features 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets, with six battery backup and surge-protected outlets and six surge-protected outlets. The input is a NEMA 5-15P right-angle, 45-degree offset plug with a five-foot power cord.
